Yoga: My journey

Yoga: My journey

People turn towards yoga for diverse reasons. Some pursue yoga for pain management, some for better sleep while few seek to lose weight. I was drawn to yoga to improve my physical flexibility and stayed captivated for the spiritual bliss it offers. During my pregnancy, my mother gifted me ‘Patanjali Yoga Sutra’, the old and classic, yellowed book, probably handed over to her by my grandmother. Reading it charmed me into the core of yoga philosophy, providing a framework for understanding the mind, its fluctuations, and the path to self-realization. Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga prepare practitioners for spiritual liberation, a state of profound inner peace and oneness with the supreme soul. I started practicing Yoga and the experience was pleasantly transformative, offering insights into living a more mindful and integrated life. When my kid was about five, I decided to help people learn what has benefited me. I wanted to create safe space for people wanting to reconnect with their body, breath and soul. I cherish to teach yoga because I appreciate the potential of each learner, and because it’s an opportunity for me to share something I love and deeply believe is healing and uplifting for our bodies and our souls and It gives me immense satisfaction to see people feeling more serene and lighter at the end of our yoga sessions.
I invite you to join me in my journey of learning – Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi.
